this is going to sound so pathetic but here goes...
ok i moved to dubai 5 months ago and met my boyfriend pretty much straight away. i made a few friends here before i met him, but now all the people i know are his friends. we are gonna split up.. and i just feel so lonely. to be honest what i need is girlfriends, as all mine are in england. where can i meet people!?

Yeah, just get chatting to people on here. I am sure that forum meetings are possibly going to happen a little more often. Unfortunately, some of us aren't in Dubai quite yet, but I for one am hoping to get over there soon!!

Truthfully Dubai can be a tough place to meet people but you are taking the right step, getting out there, I came here not knowing a soul and working by myself, I've been fortunate and have met people/made friends as will you, this forum has a lot of great people. I'm sure a girl will eventually answer your post after all the men finish fighting over you......

Get a copy of Timeoutdubai and look in the back at all the club (not night-) listings - pick one or two that you might be interested in and go and meet people (girls?) there.
