I would like to know anyone's experiences in going to the Liwa Hotel, how is it what it is like and what are the prices i am expecting to pay. Also if any other quaders/riders have been to liwa dunes, what are they like is it worth the trip all the way from Dubai, UAE? Let me know what you think or any other extra thoughts or opinions.

Sorry for th elate reply, but I just saw this + I'm new here :)
I stayed at Liwa hotel for 15 days a few years back its not bad, go to Liwa resthouse next door then instantaly your opinion of Liwa hotel will go up.
As for the dunes nothing like it in the whole of UAE 200m plus dunes a norm there, beautifull landscapes and colours. You actually get a true sense of being in a remote desert. Not like the regular weekend warriors desert patches in dubai, from every medium size dune you can see a road !
Give me a shout for more info, pics or if you feel like going there. Would like to go again this year before it gets too hot.
