Living together in Dubai

kirsty23 Hello! Just a quick question My partner and myself are looking to move to Dubai with the company he works for. But we have heard that you can't co-habit in Dubai if you aren't married. Is this true? As we are only 23 and don't want to get married yet. Kirst
arniegang Technically no you cant, but many do. However if ever there was a problem with neighbours or someone stitched you up then you would be in trouble. Many couples who are not married have 2 appartments. kirsty23 cool, thanks - so its whether I want to risk it or not -I have heard that they are changing a lot of regulations in regards to living there at the moment to make it easier for internationals - do you think there is a chance they may change this law? arniegang They will never concede on this issue i am affraid. We have to respect it is part of their culture. Unmarried and pregant is another that will never change. AFG Do a search within this site and you'll get lots of nitty gritty on this. kirsty23 No worries well looks like he will just have to pop the question then. Thank you for your help. kirsty
