I am myself interested in arabic language, keen on learning.
Had quiet a few classes, can read and write.
I progressed really quickly at the beginning but then realized that without daily practice it would be difficult to be fluent in arabic.
Here everybody talks english, and whenever u try, u struggle to make a sentence in arabic, they all reply in english....so......I gave up

I guess the best way to learn a foreign language is to converse with native speakers, watch Television, news, read newspapers, books, etc in that language.

i cannot post a link per se as i am a new member. however, if you are a better learner on your own at a time convenient for you then consider then rosetta stone teach yourself CDs. i have seen these at every airport since i travel so frequently. many business travellers are using this to learn another language.

Arabic looks very difficult to learn with all its different dialects.
Let me ask a question. Is there a standardized version being used throughout the Arab world? Is it the same language as used in the Holy Quran?
I am very eager to learn Arabic language as it's the language of our Holy Quran.
