I believe you are correct when you say they are banned. xty Not really. I saw and took a photo once, they had a peaceful "demo" outside Mamzar Park.

What I understand as Demo would be like workers on strike marching, or Iranians demonstrating outside their Consulate. The picture you showed was for a Breast Cancer Awareness, mind you they would still have got permission to do it.
