What is a "legal demo" in Dubai? I was always under the impression that demonstrations were banned but I note with interest that there has been demo's outside of the Iranian consulate. Also there was pro Palestinian protest a couple of years ago.
Are demo's legal when the subject matter suits the Government?

I believe you are correct when you say they are banned.

Not really. I saw and took a photo once, they had a peaceful "demo" outside Mamzar Park.

Is this something to do with the breast cancer awareness campaign?

I don't think this was a demo as such

and what is the demo according to you?
Misery Called Life
That's not a demo. It's an awareness campaign. Which is certainly acceptable!

What I understand as Demo would be like workers on strike marching, or Iranians demonstrating outside their Consulate. The picture you showed was for a Breast Cancer Awareness, mind you they would still have got permission to do it.
