first of all there is no mention of jesus in those verses, second you took them out of context. lets go a little backwards and see how it starts.
053.031 Yea, to Allah belongs all that is in the heavens and on earth: so that He rewards those who do evil, according to their deeds, and He rewards those who do good, with what is best.
053.032 Those who avoid great sins and shameful deeds, only (falling into) small faults,- verily thy Lord is ample in forgiveness. It clearly mandates that the Lord is the Bright Morning Star.
Sura 53 even begins with the worshiping of this same Star.
Now...either the authors of this sura were worshiping celestial bodies, or this is no ordinary Star.

Please show us the Arabic word(s) rendered as "no more than"..."trinity"...and "far exalted is he above having"...

The word "trinity" never existed in classic Arabic. Hence, when you have translators such as Yusuf Ali forcing this word into the text, it is simply an abrogation of the text.
Secondly, where are the Arabic words for "no more than"...and..."far exalted is he above having"...?
Perhaps you are having difficulty...as the words never appear in the Arabic!

The authors who penned the Koranic text (as we know it to be today) fully understood that Jesus Christ is God.

Further, although "allah" and Jesus are listed separately, they are treated as ONE...via the singular "huwa" (him)...
This is the same exact method as used in the Holy Bible in many locations that proclaim the divinity of Jesus Christ...and, as such, the authors of the Koran have also copied this over into their opus.
The difference being that they have attempted to raise the pagan Arab god "allah" up to the Biblical deity status of Jesus Christ.
You will see the modern English translators deceitfully butchering this text by inserting all sorts of add-on-words in parenthesis – in order to make this ayah conform to the Islamic paradigm.

These ayahs proclaim that the Son is worshiped directly as deity.
They also proclaim that the Son is God, not only upon the earth, but in the Cloud upon which he returns...just as copied from the Holy Bible...

Who do you mean by the Authors of the Quran? I mean really? who are you referring to? outworldish lets suppose for the sake of it, we agree on the verse that you provided. It still did not prove , that jesus said I am God or the I am the Son of God..... it is implying in future tense? as in "WILL BE" meaning he was not the son or the father before? or is he waiting for some event to take place to achieve divinity? The Koran states that Jesus Christ is God. hifriend223 JESUS in the QURAN The Islamic view Jesus lies between two extremes. The Jesus, who rejected Jesus as a Prophet of God, called him an impostor. The Christians, on the other hand, considered him to be the son of God and worship him as such. Thus, any contradictions among revealed religions is viewed by Islam as a man-made element introduced into these religions. The position of Jesus in the three major religions - Judaism, Christianity, and Islam - should not be an exception.Although the Quran does not present a detailed life-story of Jesus, it highlights the important aspects of his birth, his mission, his ascension to heaven, and passes judgements on the Christian beliefs concerning him. The Quranic account of Jesus starts with the conception of his mother, Mary, whose mother, the wife of Imran, vowed to dedicate her child to the service of God in the temple. Jesus is NOT the son of God: He was obviously enough, the son of Mary. The verses continue: "That is Jesus, son of Mary, in word of truth, concerning which they are doubting. It is not for God to take a son unto Him. Glory be to Him, He nut says to it, 'Be, and it is. (Maryam 19:34-35)After this strong statement about the nature of Jesus, God directed Mohammed (PBUH) to call the Christians to worship the one God: "Surely God is my God, and your God, so surely serve him. This is the straight path". (Maryam 19:36)The rejection of the very idea of God having a son is restated later in the same chapter with even stronger words: "And they say, The All-merciful has taken unto Himself a son. You have indeed advanced something hideous. Jesus (peace be upon him) was born miraculously through the same power which had brought Adam (peace be upon him) into being without a father:

During his prophetic mission, Jesus (peace be upon him) was granted and performed many miracles. The Qur’aan tells us that he said (interpretation of meaning):

Here is the message that the Classic Hebrew is conveying to us:
• Tetragrammaton = singular
• Elohim = Plural
• Echad = one unity
• The juxtaposed words…Tetragrammaton, Elohim, Tetragrammaton, Echad
• God is referred to not once, not twice, but three times
• Singular, Plural, Singular
• These three elements form one unity
• Singular = Plural
• Plural = Singular
• God = Gods
• God is clearly singular
• God is clearly plural
• God is Uniplural
Hence, it is little wonder why Jesus quoted and proclaimed this as most important…

Muslims respect and revere Jesus (peace be upon him) , and await his second coming. They consider him one of the greatest of God’s messengers to mankind....
A Muslim never refers to him simply as `Jesus', but always adds the phrase "peace be upon him." The Qur’aan confirms his virgin birth (a chapter of the Qur’aan is entitled `Mary') in her time, and Mary is considered the purest woman in all creation. The Qur’aan describes the creation of Jesus as follows (interpretation of the meaning):
"Behold! the Angel said, `God has chosen you, and purified you, and chosen you above the women of all nations. O Mary, God gives you glad tidings of a word from Him, whose name shall be the Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, honored in this world and the Hereafter, and one that shall speak to the people from his cradle and in maturity, and shall be of the righteous.' She said: `O my Lord! How shall I have a son when no man has touched me?' He said: `Even so; God creates what He wills. When He decrees a thing, He but says to it, "Be!" and it is." [Quran 3:42-7]
Jesus (peace be upon him) was born miraculously through the same power which had brought Adam (peace be upon him) into being without a father:
"Truly, the likeness of Jesus unto Allaah is as the likeness of Adam. He created him of dust, and then said to him, `Be!' and he was." [ Quran 3:59 ]
During his prophetic mission, Jesus (peace be upon him) was granted and performed many miracles. The Qur’aan tells us that he said (interpretation of meaning):
"I have come to you with a sign from your Lord: I make for you out of the clay, as it were, the figure of a bird, and breathe into it and it becomes a bird by Allaah’s leave. And I heal the blind and the lepers, and I raise the dead by Allaah’s leave." [Quran 3:49]
Other miracles include speaking soon after birth in defense of his mother's piety. God's other gifts to him included healing the blind and the sick (that`s why he was called the Messiah which comes from (Masaha) an Arabic word that means putting the palm of his hand over the affected orgran of the person`s body to heal it by the will of Allah), reviving the dead, and, most importantly, the message he was carrying. These miracles were granted to him by God to establish him as a prophet. According to the Qur’aan, he was not crucified, but only appeared so; instead, Allaah raised him unto Heaven. (Quraan, Chapter Maryam)
Neither Muhammad (peace be upon him), nor Jesus (peace be upon him), came to change the basic doctrine of the belief in one God, brought by earlier prophets, but to confirm and renew it. In the Quran Jesus (peace be upon him), is reported as saying that he came:
" To attest the law which was before me. And to make lawful to you part of what was forbidden you; I have come to you with a sign form your Lord, so fear God and obey me." [Quran 3:50
The Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said:
'Whoever believes there is no god but God, alone without partner, that Muhammad (pbuh) is His messenger, that Jesus is the servant and messenger of God, His word breathed into Mary and a spirit emanating from Him, and that Paradise and Hell are true, shall be received by God into Heaven.' (Recorded sayings of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh))
In fact the Quran and Hadith of the Muslims contain more sayings and stories of Jesus (pbuh) and Mary (pbuh) than in Christian traditions.
There are over 1 billion Muslims in the world today who testify that:
1. Jesus (pbuh) was one of the mightiest messengers of God
2. Jesus (pbuh) was the Messiah expected by the Jews
3. Jesus (pbuh) had a miraculous birth (No father only mother, Mary (pbuh) )
4. Jesus (pbuh) gave life to the dead with Gods permission
5. Jesus (pbuh) healed the blind with Gods permission
6. Jesus (pbuh) confirmed the laws brought by Moses (pbuh)
7. Jesus (pbuh) gave glad tidings of the last prophet to come after him (Muhammad (pbuh))
8. Jesus (pbuh) was raised into Heaven by God and Judas was crucified in his place
9. Its the authors of the Koran that proclaim that Jesus Christ is God Almighty.
They are simply copying this clear and evident truth from the Holy Bible. BMZ
This is a complex that the evangelical Christians go through. The Christian Bible does not have any authoritative say from Jesus, that the poor man was God. Heck, he is not even shown in the scripures as a god or godman or mangod. The man himself never once said, "I am God."
Being unable to find Jesus as God in the Bible, brother Apple_Pie and his evangelical friends are turning to Qur'aan, whereas they should look for Jesus in the Hindu scriptures. :lol:

There is nothing in the Christian Bible about Jesus calling himself God. Even the Revelation, the unlucky nunber 13 book of the NT does not say that Jesus was God. It calls him a goat. Or a lamb if you prefer. Rotflmao.

Not only that but Qur'aan also calls Jesus as a favoured Slave of God Almighty.
The above verses also show that they ate and that means they relieved themselves liked other human beings. It is also clearly shown that Jesus was just a human.

In blasphemy indeed are those that say that Allah is Al-Masih the son of Maryam. It is not (possible) that a man, to whom is given the Book, and Wisdom, and the Prophetic office, should say to people: "Be ye my worshippers rather than Allah's": on the contrary (he would say): "Be ye worshippers of Him Who is truly the Cherisher of all: for ye have taught the Book and ye have studied it earnestly."Quran 3.79 ( Surat-Alimran , verse 79)
They take their priests and their anchorites to be their lords in derogation of Allah, and (they take as their Lord) Al-Masih, the son of Maryam; yet they were commanded to worship but One God: there is no god but He. Praise and glory to Him: (far is He) from having the partners they associate (with Him). Quran 9.31 ( Surat At-Tawbah, verse 31)
The similitude of 'Isa before Allah is as that of Adam; He created him from dust, then said to him "Be": and he was. Quran 3.59 ( Surat Alimran , Verse 59)

And behold! Allah will say: "O 'Isa the son of Maryam! didst thou say unto men, 'Worship me and my mother as gods in derogation of Allah'?" يأهل الكتب لا تغلوا في دينكم ولا تقولوا على الله

ورسله ولا تقولوا ثلثة انتهوا خيرا لكم إنما الله
إله وحد سبحنه أن يكون له ولد له ما في
السموت وما في الأرض وكفى بالله وكيلا
Ya ahla alkitabi la taghloo fee deenikum wala taqooloo AAala Allahi illa alhaqqa innama almaseehu AAeesa ibnu maryama rasoolu Allahi wakalimatuhu alqaha ila maryama waroohun minhu faaminoo biAllahi warusulihi wala taqooloo thalathatun intahoo khayran lakum innama Allahu ilahun wahidun subhanahu an yakoona lahu waladun lahu ma fee alssamawati wama fee al-ardi wakafa biAllahi wakeelan
