Jail if you don't get your UAE ID card by year end????

yasrkasem hi and who should do it? as i heared all nationals and pplz who working in government sections only who should do it, any other expatriates shouldn't have one. more info will be appreciared, thnx sage & onion It's UAE Nationals by year end, ex-pats have at least another year. Tom Jones According to this article in todays's Gulf News all uae nationals, expats working in the government and professional expats (working in the private sector) must get the card before year end.

the UAE ID card is mandatory for UAE nationals by the end of December 2008 and for expatriates by end-2010.
:wink: Kyoto Newspapers on two days said end of year. DPS ITs only another financial scam. If the govt sincerely wants an unified ID for all residents, the labor could well have been used.
