Hi all
I would like to know how fast some of you got jobs once you got to the UAE. I have emailed my CV to lots of companies and joined/applied on many recruiting and job listing web sites, but have little success. I have read through other users posts and seen that very few people have come right by emailing, most went to the UAE, but I would like to know for how long you went and what kind of money should be kept aside for going besides the airfare.
And anyone know of a company looking for a Network Engineer/Administrator?
Does anyone know of any companies that specialize in Wireless networks or Wireless internet connections?

MIchael,
I have your CV on my database and it looks ok. However you have to realise that Dubai is not a candidate driven market. In the UK you tend to have a lot of competition in the recruitment market so companies will market out good CVs to prospective clients. However clients are very easy to find in DUbai so you become a client focused company and work only on their specific requirements. As a suggestion I would advise looking through the business directories i.e. partner directory and emailing your CV on spec to them.

On a side note, the paying services like ( and ) dont work. If you pay upfront the company has no motivation to help you. I wasted 80$ on .
