I just learned from Dubai Knight that you are allowed to import any vehicle that is less than 10 years old.
For car enthusiasts this means virtually all of the legendary cars that weren't available outside Japan can be purchased and shipped to Dubai.
This is very exciting compared to Canada where JDM cars are difficult to import and must be 15-years old.

You can import cars from japan, but you must get a certificate from the dealer that the conversion was done professionally and most dealers will only give you this paper if you did the conversion with them.
This might be a whole lost of money.
