Hi all, reasonably new to Dubai and as you can see, very new to this forum...
Need a little help if anyone can give me the info!
I work in Iran (Kharg Island) and a workmate asked me to buy a Laptop for him for when I return, only problem is he's given me 8 x 1million Rial Cheques and NO-ONE wants to cash/exchange them! Apparently they are only legal tender in Iran.
Now I don't want to disappoint my friend, and will if need be buy the Laptop myself and take to Iran, but I don't want to be left with 8million Rial I can't spend... It's a fair amount of cash in Iran and I only have one more stint there before I move to Saudi...
Any advice would be helpful... :)

Managed to get rid of them in exchange for real money, thanks to all who PM'd me on this matter, very helpful indeed. 8)
