Dubai, 15 June 2005 For the eighth years in a row, the best ice skaters in the UAE will settle at the Al Nasr ice rink in Al Nasr Leisureland from the 4th to the 8th of July 2005 for a spectacular show MULAN!
Indeed, the show - sponsored by many sounding names - is part of Al Nasr Leisureland Summer Program after last years success with "Wizard of OZ".
Since its creation in 1992 by former top-professional ice skater, current high-class coach, - Luda Kalenuk from Ukrain, Al Nasr Team has staged many ice skating shows and won many championships in UAE, US and Thailand. Major names of Dubai ice skating such as Vova Panesh, Christina Sharigina, Christine Saab, Sara, Monica, Carmella & Yasmin Thomas, Fanny, Nina, Daniel, Michael, Annetta have already taken part in these shows and part in the hearts of Dubai ice skating lovers.
Luda, producer and choreographer of the show, has once again selected an outstanding cast for the 2005 summer edition and we are glad to announce the presence of the best Dubai skating couple - Christina Sharigina and Vova Panesh, both 17, who don't need any introduction.
The big eye-catchers will surely be the Russian Vova Panesh, winner at the last UAE Championships in Hayatt Regency, the Japanese Christine Saab, 13 who became 1st during the same competition, 1st in freestyle eight at the UAE Championship-2005, and who will play the main character - MULAN.
Moreover, Luda has agreed to invite two young promising skaters. The British Karmila Thomas, 7, who achieved a brilliant 2005 winter season by winning the title of Junior UAE Champion and obtained superb results with the seniors, and French rising star Fanny Voung, 8, will take part in the show. Fanny will have the opportunity to show her incredible skills to her public, who expects a great deal from her during the next UAE championship.
They will be skating alongside with the most artistic, dynamic, and passionate skaters of Al Nasr Leisureland team around 20 stars, aged from 7 to 20. All these athletes are in the running for winning at the Asia-2005 championship, this August, in Thailand.
The MULAN show of Al Nasr Leisureland Summer Program will be full of surprises for the numerous Dubai viewers. The ice-rink - prepared for the occasion - will be the theatre of varied, dynamic and original acts that will certainly entice the public.
The MULAN show will take place on Monday, July 4
2005 at 19.00 pm and will be lasting till Friday, July 8 2005
in Al Nasr Leisureland.
