5) 80% of Europeans
6) Local taxi drivers on their own full option vehicles

10) You can find alcohol everywhere. (They don't need a license).
11) If you have a driving license of your country... no need to change it into local one.
P.S. ("Business friendly" stamp in my passport - it's visa of Bahrain)

One of our friend is renting the flat & Office in downtown. Rent is AED 8000/ p.m.
Gasoline... :D (I'll post a picture later...).
Food & Beverages... the same. The difference in rates - minus Zero (AED 100 = BD 10) All the Bills looks so funny...

I had a long weekend in Bahrain last month and really liked it. Managed to see pretty much anything of interest in 3 days, so wouldn't want to live there, but enjoyed my stay immensely.

While Bahrain is more or less like Dubai (modern, freedom) but not much to see or do. Kind of boring if you like activities. And it takes only 45 minutes to drive the whole country! More suitable for family. But perhaps it has been changed a lot since I live there in 2004.
