dont forget to put two lines under your nationality ,, loooooool cami the guidelines made me smile. sorry, andyba, but this list is real and applicable in an ideal world only... i know i'm new here, but i've been reading what you guys write and i'm sure my voice would be listened too, no matter seniority :) . i wonder how fast you'll jump at my throat :D i've joined this forum because i've been looking for a job abroad, and dubai seems to be a good choice, hence the need for real info. i've been trying to apply online for the jobs advertised there. i soon discovered that i should be located there to maximise my chances of getting employed. but i also found out that it's good i'm a woman, because i could be paid more for "extra work", depending on how much, and how many hours i would dedicate entertaining my prospective boss... then, it doesnt matter that im overqualified as a teacher of english, it only counts that i'm not a citizen of one of the 5 (god-?)chosen countries whose professionals are allowed to make honest money in education: the uk, us, canada, australia, and south africa. oh, yes, and new zeeland sometimes. the arab universities and other education institutes only ask for the right citizenship, no or little experience (!), and "a desire for adventure and flexibility" (job ad)... wild wild east... :D please take no offense, guys, i've got nothing against the native speakers, but the rest of the world needs jobs too... so i can only work as secretary or personal assistant in dubai, if i want a skilled job. i also found out i need a sponsor, who, luckily enough, needs to agree to let me leave if i feel his attitude or work conditions suck (who invented this NOC?). but then again, who said the world is or must be a fair place?? especially the arab world... so, be happy those who are males, come from the right country, and can spend some thousands till they get a job there. i suppose i'll have to search for a sponsor if i still want to work there, right? rana79 well i do agree with all but main thing is that how perfect u will b in interview.

Project Title : UPS remote sensing
Project Description : The Project is based on radio remote for home automation and its application for remote battery status sensing of UPS. The battery status of the UPS is first converted into discrete levels and a corresponding DTMF tone is generated using DTMF tone generator, which in turn is Frequency modulated and then transmitted using a telescopic antenna to the PC side. On the PC side, upon receiving the signal, is demodulated and decoded into 4 bits using DTMF decoder and finally interfaced to PC using a microcontroller. Then if the battery level comes down to a critical level, the PC informs the user to to save the present data, after which the system is halted.
