Well, I learned something new each time, and so you become more sensible with age and experience.
...and so I don't consider it a waste -- just a learning curve in reaching the right point, at the right time, in the right circumstances.

I believe in that too... from my personal experience, I dont think I will love someone the way I did before... I have dated few very very nice girls, and things were so wonderful.. however, I never could feel anything more special like in with my ex... dont get me wrong, Iam sure I will be in a relationship anytime... and I am sure I will love my new partner but I will not "fall" in love again.... to a point I get so badly hurt if things went wrong someday.
what is the maximum you can fall in love???? some people (and I know some) falls in love with every new partner!!! for some other (like me), it can be only once.

i agree with you, wht i heard from a convention is this. you have a lot of wounds in your heart (since you evolved inside your mom's womb).
a breakup can also cause a wound, but like someone said it can be cured, (washed off) intense prayer can be one, addiciton can be another, or use a thorn to remove another (love again to cure the wound happened )
its upto you miss/Mr. how you deal it.
or if you want to carry that pain in you for life long , its still upto you how you draw your fate/destiny.

Well every one of us have different experiences in lives, many would have fallen in love multiple times and each time they must have felt as if its the true love and then life moves on to another point in time.
I presume we are talking about True Love, not the love which a boy says to a girl after every date. Love has many definitions but True Love has none.
True love is like when one is touched upon by some thing beyond explanation as if it has come from another place not found on this planet, as if the true love itself is a live person embedded in the two lovers, like two souls one body or one soul split into two like a twin flame.
True love if happens, can only happen once in a life time and yes more likely true love hits you when you are already in love with another person, its ironic but those who experienced True Love knows what I am trying to explain, though I feel I can't ever.
Love is like living your life/duties with the one you think he/she loves you, and True Love? well don't search for it, it will find you when you least expect it and when it does, you are never same again. :-)
In the end, one who experienced True Love is the most lucky person in the whole universe and he/she should embrace it and not deny it ever.
