How many Days off from work - Eid

If you are new to the region you will just have to wait and see what transpires, it all depends on the spotting of the new moon.
lailah84 I thought the holiday will be on saturday and sunday :( my regular day off is every Friday and saturday V-Man When is Eid exactly and how many days would the company normally give days off for? thanks 8) Btw : weather is really improving now...time to get the BBQ ready! sage & onion
The 29th day of Ramadan will be Thursday 11 Oct. if this is the last day (likely) then Eid will be Friday Saturday for the Private Sector, we await the Government announcement. M!

Same here man :D My company decided to set the dates for all hoildays so people can actually plan to take time off! Makes good business sense really. scarlet Ok lets say it falls on the Friday - does this make the Thursday and Friday dry or if it falls on the Saturday is saturday dry? Our Company declared that the Eid Holiday would be Friday / Saturday if the last day of Ramadan was Thursday. So considering that we normally have a Friday / Saturday weekend, it's work as usual :cry: :cry: :cry:
