Housekeeper / Maid Available.

Concord Does anyone out there need a Maid / Housekeeper. Here is the situation: I have a live-in part time maid who will be needing a job over the next six months as the villa is being demolished, etc. I don't really need a maid but employ her because she, along with the gardner, 'came' with the house. She is part time as she also works in the afternoons at another villa. She is away on holiday at the moment but when she comes back I will tell her to start looking for work as she need not be here until it is time to move. I will not be needing a maid after that. Back home, I am the maid! If anyone has a need for a maid (not a slave) let me know and maybe she can work for you, etc. She is from Goa, India (Catholic) if that makes any difference. She has worked in Dubai for about 8 years and in the same villa for about 5 years (first for a family, then the person before me, and now I employed her). If you are interested let me know and maybe there is a fit, etc. Also, the next door maid approached my wife inquiring as to whether she new where there is work. She is from Sri Lanka. Don't know her but it seems she has been working in Dubai for a number of year.
BabyDoll Can she work on hourly basis? How does she charge? ^ian^ Did I read correctly that there might be an impending departure for one of our most treasured posters? Concord
No. She does not drive, etc.
She would need a place to live, etc. Dubaidude007
Would she be interested in a full time live in work situation? Concord
Well, the villa will be departing. The poster - depends... Concord
Yes I would think so. She does the part time thing because the circumstances allow it (neither I nor the other villa need her fulltime really). Dubaidude007 [quote="Concord"]
Ok will ask the Dudette tonite and she what she says Concord [quote="Dubaidude007"]
She is away on Holiday and will be returning on 21st - I will ask then.
In the meantime:
Send me a PM with the following:
1. Where do you live (area or development)
2. How many in the family (any kids)
3. How long will you be in Dubai
4. Work Hours
5. Salary
6. Where are you from (might make a diffence, I don't know)
7. Religion (might make a difference, I don't know) HP why do u not give her Pension?

Concord is already seething from his overcharge cleaners and your asking for a pension fund for his maid.....
Get rid of that maid before she sees this post....pronto..... BabyDoll
Why you think Concord put up a post here :P Concord
I will but she said she can't live on a 1 million dollars. That's only about $60,000 per year in interest income. reviewer
Does the maid ask for hazard pay also? Concord Bump, By the way she has her own visa...
