I purchased a home entertainment package from AFTRON. The DVD player failed in 1.5 months.
I asked for a replacement, 6 weeks later after much polite requesting then finally some heavy breathing clenched teeth talking I got a replacement.
Replacement was a demo model without box and very dirty handed over by a smart anused young far eastern guy. More clench teeth negotiations and I got repl. no.2 that died in 4 months. Lesson learnt - replace with a Philips

That's why you spend the extra dosh upfront and buy quality. Not saying you will get better customer service but at least you have a highler level of probability that what you bought is going to work, and work for times to come.
