I read something interesting recently about the HIV. It seams there is a new test for home use that you can buy by percribtion at the pharmacies. It costs 125 dh.Here is the story:

It seems not to be a joke...
But from what I've read it happened in 1984.. they have just discovered it recently.. and government organizations allowed it.

Ive heard from a nurse friend of mine, that usually when they find out an expat is + w/HIV, they inform the company. It is then the company's responsibility to send the person back to his country.
There's also this rumor that a lot of locals have HIV already! But they are filthy rich so they can take care of meds and all that.

It's a pretty crazy rumour though. WHO figures on AIDs infections are partly based on the stock of medications provided to that country. Given the extremely low (almost neglible) amount of Interferon et. al. shipped to this country, it doesn't sound probable.
