Hi,
I've read the sticky about visit types of visa. But I am confused, when did this change? I thought all EU Community passport holders could come with no visa and stay for up to 60 days.
If I need to sponsor someone from Italy to come to Dubai, what do I do? Where do I get the forms? How longs does it take? I can't find the Immigration Department telephone, does anyone have it? Is there a website?
Please advise and SOON, as my mum (who is Italian) is coming in 3 weeks and I was taking for granted she did not need a visa, so I need to hurry!
Thanks,
Julieta

Thanks Maad, it gives me a lot of peace of mind!
It is quite confusing, after writing the post, found a website of the tourist department of dubai that basically said that she needed a visa. However, I finally got to talk to the Naturalisation and Immigration Department and they confirmed she can still get the 60 day on arrival visa. Go figure!
So I will assume they are the ones who know and will leave it like that.
Fingers crossed!

No worries. You'll need the finger crossing for the driving in Dubai.
