I am currently working for a UK based software company, I run a small team selling products to the fixed and mobile telephone operators in the middle east.
I am thinking about relocating to Dubai and need help convincing my family that it is the right thing to do. I have just visited Dubai with my wife, she did enjoy it but still has reservations.
Can someone advise me on:
1. Where is Dubai would you relocate to ensure that my wife (english) felt safe and welcomed by the comminity
2. What are the average daily living costs like?
3.Can anyone recommend health clubs, social events for making new friends?
4.How easy would my wife find work, she is currentlt an IT Services Delivery Manager for UK based technolgy company in the banking sector.
5.Any advice for an Englishmen contemplating a major change?

your concerns are genuine and i am not sure how long since you posted the message. I too was keen to fid somtihng very similar.
My job requires travelling and so i was contemplating a sharing accomodation. How good or bad is it?
