Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone had any knowledge or information about
Wellington International School in Dubai. Its a GEMS school. Does anyone know what it is like to teach there? Any positive or negative comments?

For teachers, GEMS schools are not great but probably better than Varkey Group schools. Whatever they say, I assume they're in business to make a profit first, educate students second, and treat their teachers well third. Same as most companies. Make a profit, look after your customers, worry about your employees only if they make too much fuss.
My guess is that WIS is one of the better schools in their portfolio though.
In the absence of more information, I'd call it a grade C+ school on the Little Johnny rating system (see the first post in the list below) for salary, working conditions, management. As with most expat schools in the UAE, the students will be good to teach.
