Global Village will open its doors for a two-month extravaganza from December 23 until February 9 next year.
Dubai’s exciting tourism destination and multicultural entertainment centre, which saw the participation of 40 countries, 75 retail outlets and 50 restaurants last year, has opened registration for retailers, restaurateurs and those wishing to lease pavilions and kiosks in its 12th edition this year. Registrations will close on October 1.
Ibrahim Abdulrahim, Director, Global Village said: “This year, the Global Village will last for 59 days. We will continue to offer several investment opportunities to our private sector partners and retailers.” To create a healthy and competitive atmosphere among the participants, The Global Village Awards reward the best efforts and contributions every season.
Prizes, as well as trophies, are awarded to the best participants in six categories: Best Pavilion, Best Restaurant, Best Media Coverage, Best Global Village Event, Best Cultural Feature and Best Photography. The Global Village Awards encourage participants to show their creativity and cultural insight in improving the visitor experience year after year.
