I was thinking that for Dhs. 1,500 you could have gone a long way to doing them yourself. Have you complained to the shop, seems way expensive to me?

recently used giovanni's in uptown Mirdif for some family portraits. Paid 1500 for a set of photos and am not impressed. I don't expect to look like Brad Pitt in them, just expected some good old fashioned famliy portraits to send back home. Nothing is framed or centred, shadows across faces and lights reflecting when they shouldn't.
we have paid a look of money for some snaps that my mate could have taken and we could have photoshoped and got printed at the kodak shop. Guess we will know better next time.

That's a ridiculous price. Also if you're not happy you should complain and get them to either do them again and do a better job, or give you a refund. Too many cowboys get away with doing a shoddy job, as nobody complains in this town.

when we complained the response was to shoot them again. now we have to find the time to go again and take the photos. We are actually fairly upset about the whole incident. Was looking for nice formal portrait to send to the grandparents.
Can anyone recomend a different photographer for these professional photos?
