Is there a store in the Al Souk area, near Al Fahidi Street that sells Garmin GPS, (more specifically the Oregon models)?
Or somewhere else?

Pluggins stores have them and I would assume most big electrical stores like Sharaf DG. However the maps for this region are not very upto date and bearing in mind that the roads change at the drop of a hat, you have to wonder if it's worth it.
