Really???, why is that, the guy is obviously a crook.
Bora Bora
Well he saw to it that he protected his "assets". In Florida it is very hard for the government to seize your property if convicted of a crime, with the exception of drugs. It is the one state that protects criminals assets. He was no fool. Hopefully Dubai is able to prove a solid case to bring Interpol into the fold.
This guy was a thief, bottom line. I wonder how he was able to move US$3 million out of the country without leaving a paper trial.

In sage's posts everything is obvious......obviously Sheik Mohammed did not know he was riding a doped horse, obviously Sultan Bin Sulayem did not know he was riding a doped horse, obviously the french is a crook, obviously all expats are bad. and if it is not bad publicity why did they pulled the story out of AB, unless it is another example of freedom of speech.

@BB
He went to Florida 'cos thats where they got 'im from! Or put more simply he went home, as so many fellow expats constantly say, "If you dont like it .....", he did.
And the obvious paper trail ? Where was that shown or commented on in the DoonCoon press ? Yup no where. DubaiWorld said he did it, end of story.
That it took over a year to process is a farce, could have been rubber stamped in an afternoon for the charade that it is.
(You will of course that I neither comment on his guilt or innocence - I have restricted my self to the OBVIOUS and reported fact)
This goes for Matt Joyce - Adel Al Shirawi - Saad Razak etc etc

Wot happened at Arabian Business WAS an exercise in free speech. The call to the Ministry of Good News was FREE, the ride to the station was FREE, 3 nights detention, yup you guessed it, FREE
Embarasment at the "Page not Found" display - Priceless ! (Obviously)

His eyes and mouth are weak, I guess he just had it coming.
By the way, I see the bastard had a gun!
But I guess that won't change the opinions of any of his lovers here....
gertrude
why do you hate the man? because he had a gun? so what. does not surprise me for an a ex military. looks like even if he wins his case I guess he will still be guilty to you.
Speedhump
I don't give a cuss about any law suit, for or against him. Have you read any of my previous posts? What have I accused him of apart from crass stupidity in his dealings with locals? Oh, AND USING THIS GENERAL FORUM FOR ADVERTISING PURPOSES. Don't just join a forum and start mouthing off without knowing who you are talking to and what their position is on any given subject.
Private citizens are not allowed to carry guns here, so why are you not surprised, did you not know? Ex-spy (not military) or not, he was obviously a much bigger man inside his own head than he was in real business.
