What does 1 mean?
Does it mean goodbye or something...because yall always use/say that (1) when yall are leaving....
so what does it mean exactly...what is so special about 1...why not 2 or 5?

it can be used to both say hello and goodbye, in replacement of hello or bye.
it can also have different meanings, for example joining a reunion or party by saying *here I am*, *here comes the lonely one* *I'm the one and only* it's usually the expression of adding oneself to a group: "hey dogs, what's up? one yall."
it can also be short for "one love" (like the "one true love" or one true gangsta, the one and only gangster, etc.). "hey babe, gotta run, one."
but I'm sure there are other definition and uses out there...

Freza's spot on, 1 is the short for 1 luv or to mean see ya later.
It may also mean " I'm da 1" to denote the head of the gang..
Alternatively the fake gangsta's may also mean ' I gotta rush for 1, cant hold on" :)
