Not a fisherman nor a sportfisher. A friend of mine had a "connection" to the authority & the boat/ship captain (LCT to be exact) which anchored there waiting for next trip.
Note: fishing without license is illegal in Dubai, and we all didn't have any!
We only use hooks and nylon threads, no fishing rod, all pulled by hand!
The other night, we barely got any fish. Apparently there was sharks everywhere, and we got a small one!

that's just a baby one, and it's not the great white. i think it's reef shark. i even swam with one when i went scuba diving.
