Ghana - Czech was a great game indeed. Concord Italy vs. USA - The referee should have been sent off. Otherwise an exciting game. ajoy i wonder why people are not talking about argentina.. all equations and predictions must have changed having seen the game of argentina vrs. serbia. they have some very good mid-fielders and strikers... if they get on the field all together, nobody would have the speed or skill to stop them. the way the teams are performing, i predict germany would meet argentina in the finals. Ghana is missing their 3 key players at midfield... Stephen Esse, Ali Sulley Muntari, Stephen Apiah and striker Gyan Asmoah. I think the Americans have huge chance, but I'm cheering for the African team to make it to the second round.

after the first half I thought the same...
BUT... I think in the second half (especially at the end) they really got stronger. This one yellow card for ARG wasn't fair in my opinion.
But the penalty shooting was a feast for Germany... Lehmann was GREAT.
After all I would say a really hard match, Germany didn't deserve to lose in my opinion.

Les Bleus captain Zinedine Zidane was correctly dismissed for a head-butt on Marco Materazzi in an off-the-ball incident in Berlin.

I would have done what Zidane did if its true to what he said to ZIdane. Its easy to say he should have controlled his temper when its not said to you..I bet you most people would have reacted even worse way if it was said to them. ZIdane has been called all types of names growing in France and playing in ITaly and Spain, but he never reacted the way he reacted to what was said to him yesterday, so whatever was said to yesterday must have been horrible enough for him to lose his temper like that.
