Buy America clause has been part of the US law and its mandatory for all Highway projects. The language in the stimuuls plan is vitually unchanged to the most recent authorization of the highway construction reauthorization bill in 2005. The law is there to protect the domestic products and employees. There could be exepmtions under certain conditions. When I was working on the new Bay Bridge in CA we got the Feds to relax it for structural steel. Maybe in these unprecedented times its time to change this law.

what ever it was lol, uks never had it, they lost it in the 1950s when they gave away everything, now the uk is just being used lol, by all the other countries etc, specialy polish n things lol.
