I have some questions about Dubai and construction job situation there. Can anyone with experience help please ?
1. What is the best website to find listing of property or development companies there?
2. Do you think the pace of construction development in Dubai sustainable within the next 2 to 3 years? Could the bubble burst anytime soon?
3. What are the expected salary levels of expat Construction Manager with more than 15 yrs experience? Is there a shortage situation?
4. Is the employment permit application to work in Dubai very complicated for expat managers (fr UK)? is the authority very beaurocratic? What is the typical approval period?
5. I was told the cost of living is very high. would it be comparable to say, London or New York?
6. What is the highest component in the cost of living there?
