Here’s a very basic question.
What sort of electrical outlets/plugs are used in Dubai?
Three-prong, UK-style (also found in Malaysia, Singapore, etc.)?
Or, is another type of outlet used?
My impression is that there are about half a dozen different types of outlets used in different parts of the world. Of course, the type of electricity also varies. Globalization still hasn’t lead to the standardization of everything yet!

Agree-three prong UK/Sing. Also conversion plugs for any others are cheap and available in all supermarkets. Think twice about bringing too much electrical though as this is every man's dream an electrical heaven!
