Hey people, long time no post :D
My Xbox got fried yesterday, the power unit is dead :( Does anyone know of a place that would fix these sorts of things?

XBox 1 or XBox 360?
If it's an Xbox 1 you'll have to get a new power supply and pretty much fit it yourself. It's easy to do though, I've pulled apart dozens of XBox 1s.
If it's a 360 do a warranty claim.

You might be able to get all the bits in Radio Shack, City Centre.

If it got fried as a result of a faulty converter you should be able to take it back? I've seen the 360's in Virgin City Center with some huge power converters attached to them that were like double the size of the machine itself!! Looked crazy to me!!! :D

Unfortunately not I'm afraid, the Xbox 1 uses either an AT or ATX power supply depending on the model and it has its own custom plug configuration. It would be possible to modify a AT/ATX power supply though, but easier just to buy one in from the UK/overseas.
Either that, or possibly locate a junked model of the same version, but not super easy to find.
