Eating veggies

EastWestExpat Are there any vegetarian restaurants in Dubai? Bascially, I assume that there might be at least one or two Indian "veg" restaurants in view of the large South Asian community in the UAE. Any suggestions? Are there any other veggie joints (Western-style vegetarian or even Chinese vegetarian restaurants) in Dubai? Incidentally, while I know that certain Arab dishes are vegetarian, but I've never seen a Middle Eastern vegetarian restaurant as such. I wonder if such things exist.
fayz If you go to Bur Dubai or Karama there are stacks of vegetarian Indian restaurants. I can’t recommend a particular one though as I’m a carnivore ;) EastWestExpat Thanks, I'll check those out! secretdubai It would be really easy to eat vegetarian at a good Lebanese restaurant - there are so many salads and non-meat mezze dishes. If you have a thing about "being around meat" you could always get take-out/delivery. Try fattoush, moutabel, hummous, tabbouleh. jag
There are plent of options for veggies in Dubai :) Have a look at for many restaurant options..
