hi everybody.i m looking for some solution of this "UAE PAGE BLOCKED..." when ever i go to any site this page comes.it will be gr8 help to me.plz plz plz give some solution.

well for what ever reason you want to "bypass proxy" which is in all probablity for porn although there do exist other reason.
etisalat has one of the best proxies in the world to break through it, is very difficult to say the least.
now you really dont want to hear a bunch of technical crap from me so to put it simple you cant do it unless ur a expert.
no that doesnt mean u cant get the stuff you want. there exists other ways.
like i said you dont want to listen to technical crap so the absolute simplest way is to use another proxy server. all you have to do is change a single like to say the proxy server in france. and get all the free viewing pleasure.
but there is a catch, for as long as you are on the net you are being charged long distance fees to france. which makes this expensive.
there exists many other methods and i know u are probably disperate to hear them but believe me. even if i told you. you would know how to use it.
in conclusion:
ur screwed. live with it. use kazaa.

Actually there are some simple ways but due to this being a public forum I am not really allowed to discuss them. They might block this site for the simple reason of people posting ways to bypass proxy.
Another thing you might have not known, any company operating in the FreeZones be it Dubai Internet City / Dubai Media City / Knowledge Village does not go through Etisalat's EIM ISP and so is Proxy Free.

well actualy they have a proxy just a different one not from etisalat. in short yes you could use say media city to traffic.
i know of that. but ur right we shouldnt talk about this in public and no i will not email anyone details of it.

Email the site to Emirates - look on their website for the address - and they might unblock it. I've asked them to unblock several. Sometimes they do.
Depends what it is of course.

if its from something like a hotmail account. to a friend then in all likly hood it is not possible.
but if its to a organisation or a web site they can see the ip of the sender uae ip adresses start with 217 hence they know.
but this is highly technical so only a professional would know.
if its to some random bum go for it its my garantee they will never find out.

something besides is Touchnet browser.
Its a browser that uses..multi proxies.. n so on.. gr8 thing.. but it has been discontinued.. try searching..if u dont find a download link, i will post you a link .
Also: they do not charge for using external proxies other than etisalat's.
but incase there are those adware dialers..or something likethat.. its gonna give u a nice shot of bills.

I think I saw on Etisalat's website something like 250AED/mo.... I could be wrong... PS - Thats roughly CA$83/mo.... Not much more than Canada if you tally up our taxes we may be about $10 cheaper for 6.1mbs...

The comparison cannot be made between dubai's and canada's high speed connections..
For 83$/month in dubai you get a 256Kbit connection
For 70$/month in canada u get a 6.1Mbit connection
That is roughly 24 times faster!
A 2Mbit connection in dubai is 700 AED (~233 CAD), with sympatico you get a 3Mbit conection for about 50$
Conclusion: Prices in dubai are ridiculously high and they are generous enough to censor 80% of the internet for you.

yeah , internet sure is costly here. Like in india one of the operators provide around 1-2 mb connection that too with Roaming (WIFI) around the country ... for around 60 -80 Dhs
Some isp's in other countries gives a DSL 512 For almost 90-130 Dhs.
Sure makes a difference of 40-50 dhs here..

Don't email Etisalat to unblock sites, they very rarely read them. PHONE them, the guy looks there and then at the site and is OK will unblock it within about a hour.
Plus the ironic thing is Etisalat ar not the ones actually blocking the sites, it's done by an Amercian company.
If you live in an Emaar building, they also use a different server so you can have free access through them as well.
High speed internet here is ridiculously expansive, but what do you expect when there is no competition.
Plus a note on Kazaa, don't bother with it, it's now full of viruses and the record companies etc are well aware of people using it and put false files on there, you'll download a track and end up with an hour of silence.
There are others which are much better.

.... btw the fact that TECOM doesnt block is being reveiwed by some telecom authority. I think they will have to start blocking, because if they are going to be competing with Etisalat they wont be allowed not to block, it will give them an advantage. OR, Etisalat will stop blocking .. we'll see what happens. I hope we move forward and not backward ..
