Dubai ban on Chinese milk based products

Dubai Knight Dubai Municipality have recently withdrawn a series of Chinese manufactured milk products as they have been found to contain traces of melamine. Apparently it is added in China to boost the calcium content. It might be advisable for anyone with kids to check the milk products they are using as this has contributed to the deaths of many babies in Asia. :( :( :( Knight
kanelli They are just doing this now? We've already had milk and milk products pulled here weeks ago. Dubai is so slow on this issue! (Probably waiting for the test results from all the other countries :() The Agri-Food and Veterinary dept in Singapore has tested and found that the following products contained melamine. Some other countries have pulled milk coffee and milk tea powders as well, don't have the brand names for those. It is best to avoid all milk products from China, especially if Dubai food authorities aren't going to test everything sold in the UAE market. Yi Li Choice Dairy Fruit Bar Yogurt Flavoured Ice Confection; Dutch Lady Strawberry Flavoured Milk; White Rabbit Creamy Candy; Dutch Lady Banana Flavoured Milk; Dutch Lady Honeydew Flavoured Milk; Silang - House of Steamed Potato - Potato Cracker; 徐福记 Puffed Rice Rolls - Butter Corn Flavour; and 徐福记 Puffed Rice Rolls - Cheese Flavour; New Sshmallows Mallow Dippers-Strawberry Flavour; Silang - House of Steamed Potato - Potato & Tomato Cracker puppypup I was ready to buy some yummy BBQ eel but saw it came from China. Got scared and didn't buy it. I avoid buying Chinese products and it's not because they're Asian. BTW I am very lactose tolerant like my title should be Miss Dairy Queen. Lots of Asians aren't lactose tolerant hence my chances of being Asian are slim because I'm the lactose tolerant leader.
