For those who don't know what "discomgoogolation" means:
The term "discomgoogolation" is a combination of the word "discombobulate" and "Google."
British Psychologists created the term "discomgoogolation" to mean a "feeling of distress or anxiety when unable to gain immediate information access."
The term was created following a study of 2,100 British citizens where the "stress levels of participants in the study were measured with heart and brain monitors."
The study found that "over three quarters of Britons (76 per cent) admit that they cannot live without the internet as they spend ever more time emailing, playing online games and viewing porn."

That order definitely isn't right....

There is NO chance it is as high as 76 per cent . I know a LOT of people who do nothing with computers and do NOT WANT to know!!
When I mention and the possibilities of earning an income by putting Google Adsense Ads on their own sites, which visitors could click, they go blank!! They know nothing of the internet.
Look at , it has Google Ads around the edge. When people click those and open them, the host earns a little money.
It's a good extra income for some people with several web-sites.

Did they reply 'baaaaa'?
Sorry for the awful stereotyping, RK.
Seriously, almost everyone I know uses the Internet regularly, for fun, email contact, finding holidays, bargains, etc. (even WORK :D). That's in UAE and in UK (South East England, maybe that's where our differences are; geographically, which was why I made my lame joke about the sheep).
I would say that I know very few people who don't use the 'net regularly, and that incudes my mother who is almost eighty...so for me it's closer to 100 percent of people that feel cut off in some way if their Internet is down.
