Im curious to know if Dubai has any type of K9 detection/security companies. Ive done my research and have yet to turn anything up that has been worth looking into further. Im a networking person and someone somewhere has to know something. Id really appreciate any help that anyone can give.

mmmm.... not really popular, firstly Arabs and dogs don't have a good history and very few Arabs keep dogs as pets, let alone would use them in a work environment. k-9 units would not be well received.
Secondly in the middle of summer taking a dog outside and expecting it to work is simply cruel; possibly indoors, but not really practical

I can assure you that all precautions are met since the dog itself is the "tool" which helps the handler protect the public. As for arabs not having a good relationship with dogs, I beg to differ. Ive worked with numerous companies that have provided not only support to arab coutries but to arab families. ReaDY FOR THIS? THE HANDLERS ARE ARAB.
The police dept in dubai has a k9 unit. WITH WOMEN/ARAB HANDLERS, isnt that something?
I know there are a few companies operating k9 detection teams there. If they have a port, an airport, even export buisnesses that supply good to the US then there has to be detection teams. All im trying to do is find them or someone to talk with about them
