Hi,
I am from Australia and just arrived in Dubai on the 15th October.
I am in the final stages of getting my documents attested.
Can someone please confirm that the below is the correct process ? As I am getting really confused after doing ALOT of research.
Have copy of certificate attested by:
1. Public Notary (in home country)
2. Department of Foreign Affairs (in home country)
3. UAE Embassy (in home country)
4. Department of Foreign Affairs (in Dubai)
I am up to Step 4, and just wanted to make sure that this is all I have to do before I find out I have to get it attested by someone else as well.
Also, I didn't bring a copy of the original degree.
Does anyone know if this is going to be a huge problem? I have noticed for one job advertisement that they require to sight the original even if I have a copy of the certificate that has been attested by the appropriate parties.
Finally, does anyone know the exact address of the Department of Foreign Affairs?

Yes the final is step is done at the ministry of FA. I am not sure whether they only accept originals or copies. Call to check.
Another member posted the new address of FA in a previous post not too long ago.
