Does anyone know if there are any decent Chinese restaurants in Dubai? I mean authentic ones and not the ones gwai lo goes to (no offense) :)

Quite a few near Al Nasr leisureland.
Constantine also has a fave near Lamcy Plaza... would be worth checking with him when he returns.

there's 1 in hor-al-anz east, just behind abu hail center.... dont remember the name..
excellent food - but i last ate there in 2004!
owned by some chinese ppl, so must be authentic

One near Clock Tower (deira, can't remember the name)
Chinese hot pot place (very, very good, run by Northern Mushrooms) :lol: :lol: Twin Towers Shopping Centre in Deira

The best Chinese on a budget that I know of in the country is in Ajman.
If your not on a budget, the shangrila hotel 2nd floor makes an amazing peeking duck

uhhmmm u want china chinese or malaysian/singaporean chinese food....its different i gues...
anywayz....try the First Malaysian Restaurant on Sheikh Zayed Road...thats pretty good and authentic...
another one in Karama is the Singapore something something.....
