Dubai Knight
Cuttin Crew are a good hard working band who had a series of hits back in the 80's 90's and have written some iconic tunes. Imagine my delight to hear that they were here in Dubai, as I had seen them live a few times when they were at the top of their game, so I duly bought a ticket and stood there in anticipation of a good gig...
The set up looked quite impressive, however its a shame the sound desk was being operated by a deaf and blind monkey! The sound was simply appalling. The lead singer made repeated requests to the engineer, that were singularly ignored, so we had to put up with a muffled sound with too much reverb and insufficient guitar volume...
What are the chances of us getting any decent bands over here is this is the level of service they receive when they get here. Not mentioning the name of the light and sound company here, but they are steaming incompetents who should quit the business. Take up crochet or something you asshats!
