Cost of living


tamcameron Can any one tell me the general cost of living in dubai 1. restaurant lets say a 3 cousre meal 2. a bottle of water 3. a taxi to the airport 4. a tv 5.a dvd 6. a vodka and coke 7. is there any snooker clubs 8. how much is a cinema ticket 9. a macdonalds 10. food a week for 1 person :shock: :?: if you can help me with any of this that would be great
arniegang hiya some are quite difficult to answer for example 3 course meal lol, are we talking all you can eat for 10Dhs or Burj Arab @ £200-400 lol? I will take the average. 1 ave rest like Hard Rock Cafe about 120dhs about £20 plus drinks 2. large bottle hotel 10dhs in shop about 3/4 Dhs 3, Taxi to Jumeria beach area from airport about 60/70 Dhs 4 20% less than UK prices 5 20% less than UK prices 6. In a hotel about £5-£10 in a rest about £3 7. dont know 8. dont know 9 10% less than UK 10. depends whether you buy in a supermarket or eat out. To buy in supermarket is 50% cheaper than UK. For example a tin of coke is about 15pence, a sandwich from spinneys 50p etc hope this helps Liban To fill in the blanks.

A bottle of vodka from A&E or MMI is about 60-70 dhs 750ml and a can of coke from deli cost 1 dhs 7. is there any snooker clubs - they are everywhere 8. how much is a cinema ticket - 35 dhs 9. a macdonalds - not sure I don't eat macdonalds 10. food a week for 1 person - 50 dhs if you eat cheap and cook yourself yorky500

Just a point of interest MP. Within the English Language we use "punctuation" to make grammar and sentence construction to make sense, when reading.

You must never start a sentence with a verb

And we should always start a sentence with a Capital letter.
"Cause" is TEXT talk MP - the word is Because
No such word as "aswell" , it is "as well" ie 2 words.
It is bad to use the same word concurently ie well well
Also only 1 full stop is required, you seem to use rather a lot.
My example in only your first paragraph, shows you how what you write makes no sense wotsoever.
Worry less about Text talk MP and concentrate on your own bad grammar
