Just read that the Saudi´s are starting to build a 1.6 km. high building in Jeddah. Will Sheikh Mohammed come up with a new design you think?

Actually I take that back, don't think it's even possible for a tower. 1.6km is twice the height of Burj Dubai. :?

Actually your wrong. the "Mile High" tower has been on the drawing board for some time and will likely be built in Jeddah, and almost certainly withing the next 10 years.
The Km high tower is now starting adjacent to the IBT Shopping Mall

They are interested in building high towers,
they should look into more serious issues like water scarcity in the region.

burj dubai - personally - i think is the tallest acceptable looking structure, any taller than that its starting to look like a complete joke..
