Ho ho ho, it's that time of year when you open a bottle of cooking sherry put a few Christmas DVDs on and write all your Christmas cards to loved ones at home and abroad.
Where on earth do you post them?
Seriously, I used to be able to rely on the office boys at work to post stuff but need to do it myself this year. The post office by my work is never open.
I'm happy to go anywhere between Jumeriah Beach Road and Emirates Hills/Meadows/Springs.
Sounds like a really stupid question, and shamefully I have been here too long that I should know but don't even know where to buy a stamp!

Hey Jones. I'm surprised to know that in this day and age somebody is snail mailing christmas cards. It may've already been a little too late for you. I beleive there is a Post Office in the Media City. There is one in JA FZ which I've used a couple of times. Here is a list of Post offices in Dubai.

Yeah I think its too late already. I sent mine last week and was told - unlikely. But then I used the internal mail as I too dont know where to go. I was given directions to the Trade Centre office, but you know......

Generally post to and from UAE takes on average 10 days anyway - by camel, presumably, so I'm not bothered about them getting there by Christmas, it's just a few family brownie points and a reminder to those I really don't want to speak to that I am alive, elderly aunties and the like.

There is an Empost office in Jumeirah Village (opposite Jumeirah Plaza) on the Beach Road. They are open normal times and its as easy as pudding to send stuff.
