Hi, I'm in my final year of university and writing my dissertation on exploited children. I've heard conflicting repotrs about whether child jockeys are still used in camel races in Dubai.
Does it still go on? If so, does anyone know which race courses/tracks I could find it? I'm keen to get some primary material for my research.
Thanks!

I wouldnt be surprised if they still are. Dubai has advanced in real estate, beauty, roads but still lacks liberalism, proper morals and quality education. Very sadly.

According to the local press this practice is no longer evident in the UAE

Yep, apparently it's banned now and all the kids have been sent home. But I am sure they enjoyed riding camels.
