Can anyone recommend the best Mobile phone service provider in terms of :
- price
- talk time
- coverage
And any other features that would be useful.

are you talking about Dubai ? as of today there is only one company . So there is no choice.
I think will be operational by end of the year. Ask us for a comparsion then ;)

thanks for that MaaaD... I thought there were others besides Etisalat because many of my mates in dubai have quite dis-similar numbers !
What schemes do they have ?? Prepay, post-paid...and which is the most economical for someone like me who likes to talk a lot :oops:

They have both prepaid and postpaid. Prepaid is easier to get and costs about $165 dh and obtained with a copy of passport and visa stamp. Postpaid requires residency and a PO Box I believe. Most people just use prepaid.

Any leads on making cheap international calls ?? Do they have those 0870 numbers with which you can call internationally for a very nominal rate per minute

Otherwise no such beast exists. Expect to pay 3 dh a minute which gets quite costly.
