A new programme to encourage entrepreneurship in young Emiratis was launched in Dubai yesterday, with its backers hoping to foster a new generation of high-tech start-up companies. The programme, a partnership between Microsoft and the Arab Business Angels Network (Aban) will partner young entrepreneurs with corporate and academic support, as well as funding from “angel” investors.
