This is an old rumour, completely unsubstantiated. One of the biggest delaying factors was the problems they were facing with high winds at the upper levels, this was affecting the lifting of the cladding. catalyst beautiful view .. RobbyG Some less beautiful news about the Burj financing:

It seems to me that the Korean company is having some dificulties cashing in their contracts from the gov. backed developers. It's not amongst the World's Tallest, it is the WORLD'S TALLEST BUILDING / STRUCTURE Richardson These pictures, and I have some more saved, are phenomenal! I have never seen electrical storms like these anywhere else in the world. Mind you, not been that far elsewhere so I'm limited! Was caught out in Barasti one night when one of these beauties rolled in. Stayed to watch the spectacle with a mate and what a sight!!
