I m just one of those who belive in 100% commitment when in a relationship. That is why I am single  I m scared of commitments & I wanted to know if i am the only odd one out here! ..... so simply vote!
ajb
Nope Im totally committed in relationships .... but I also have a few scorpio traits so that I am very tolerant until a certain point and then I cut all ties .... and I have been like that in relationships in the past :(
Jeevan
i would say commitment is the key to a relationship, i wouldnt like to be with someone who is not sure about what they want from the relationship in the future.mes an aerien its either yes or a total no:)

Unless you are committed , the relationship does not feel real.

what kinda of commitment ? ok tell me what is the meaning of commitment in relationship.
raidah
ppl dont take commitments because they r not sure of their feelings. when u know u love him or her, u will commit and vice versa. u will know ur in love cos ull see the relation as exclusiv, no room for 3rd parts.

i believe in all or nothing , but i noticed i usually prefer guys that i know i could never end up with , and i totally run away when i feel something real is coming my way :( so i gues that commitment scares the hell out of me

cos we r probably talking about 2 different things  . i was refering to emotional commitment. emotional commitment is love, even if 2 ppl cant be physically together.

Commitment is so many things in a relationship package. It means loyalty, obligation, giving your cent percent, doing things for your relationship (if you love the person, you’ll do it happily, otherwise you simply adjust) etc. It simply being committed!

When you find yourself not accepting no excuses to let the relationship fail, and do anything in your power to make it work thats when you know you are comitted.

You're right, the topic is about commitment and we went off track. Well, I agree with the two sides of opinions presented here. I think that easternjewel should not be afraid of being commited if she has a serious and loving relationship. But at the same time I don't think that she should be in a rush to fall in love or into a commitment. If she doesn't feel it, she should not worry about it; it might not be the time for her. I think that sometimes and for some people, it's better to be guarded rather than to be on the constant pursuit of commitment. Some people are so anxious for a serious relationship that they think of nothing else and they might end up being desperate and needy - just look at Mr. HP!

Im not afraid of commitment, but I do find that I need to stop myself from sabotaging any relationship that I am in....friends, family, dating. I think there was only one friend relationship I never tried to sabatoge...still figuring out how I did it. For dating, the guy Im with is helping me out with that problem and puts up with my stupid antics....which are becomming less frequent thankfully...well its only been around 3 times in a 6 month period.
Oh and when i say sabotage , i dont mean like cheating or anyting, i just argue about something i know i shouldnt...but im stopping that, or at least working at stopping that. personal problems.
i guess its in my best interets that i got my degree in psychology, analyze myself and figure out how to deal...lol
