Best Spas

scarlet Hello girls (and some guys!) where are the best spas in Dubai for facials/pedicures/massage?
MaaaD Six senses spa in Madinat Jumeirah has always been ranked one of the best 25 spas in the world :) I also like the one in the royal mirage i got a morrocan bath and a massage there but not a pedicure .. i am not that metros.e.xual .. yet :P scarlet What happens in a Morrocan bath? MaaaD We went as a group of 5 and were able to book the Hammam for us (we were mixed group so as long as you know each other they will alow a mixed group) I got this from royal mirage's website they call it Oriental Hammam. Oriental Hammam The traditional Oriental Hammam has long played a part in the cultural and social life of eastern cities. An ‘oasis of retreat’ from daily stresses, entering the Hammam is akin to a wonderful journey: winding corridors framed by dramatic arches lead to the heart of the Hammam … a haven of space, warmth and comfort, with heated massage tables, steam rooms, sauna, whirlpools and jet showers. The calming sound of running water echoes from ornately tiled walls, while a gentle and gracious attendant completes the sense of escape. In respect of local traditions, the Oriental Hammam operates separate hours for ladies and gentlemen. Resting, fully relaxed, on a heated marble slab, an expert masseur attends to every need of the body, rejuvenating the skin and invigorating tired muscles. Known locally as tellaks or tayebs, the masseurs are masters of their craft, hailing from Morocco, Tunisia and Turkey. Under their gentle guidance (the English word ‘massage’ is derived from the Arabic mass, or ‘gentle touch’), even the most hesitant guest cannot fail to entrust themselves to the care of the masseur. The treatment begins with a vigorous exfoliation, starting with the back and moving on to the face, neck, shoulders, chest, stomach, hips, legs and feet – care is taken over every inch of the body, leaving the guest, in fact, with a new skin. sharewadi
