Banking in Dubai is as simple as banking in west or any developed countries, but when it comes to professionalism they are way back. There was a small issue with Emirates Bank International and I sent them a fax asking for clarification more than 3 weeks ago requesting them for a courtesy call or an email atleast clarifying the matter!! No reply till date or a call. Do you guys agree silence over clients complaints/issues in service industry is desirable in todays world when competition is severe? OR your experience with this bank is similar as mine? Based on my experience with Emirates Bank International for over 3-4 years I would rate them as gone worst recently!! Have your say....

I bank with Emirates and they're excellent. Did you follow-up your fax with a phone call or just sit waiting for it.
I often find if I need things done immediately, I go to the branch, where I get first class customer service (although I am not a first class customer).
They are heaps better than Mashreq Bank.

I hardly ever had problems with Mebank either. But why the hell does the same bank have 2 different names? They had 3, but killed one now.

I dont mean to be rude but HSBC is awful.
Well was awful.
Over the last year, they have become a lot better in terms of speed and quality of service.
